Cold forging process is one of the new processes of metal process without machining. It is a kind of plastic deformation produced by using metal under the action of external force, and a processing method with the aid of mould, the volume of metal is redistributed and transferred, thus forming the necessary parts or blank. Cold heading process is most suitable for the production of bolts, screws, nuts, rivets, pins, bushings, sleeves and other hollow parts and shapes.

Ningbo Hewcho manufacture a wide variety of cold forging parts. These parts are applied to automotive, electronics, mining, hydraulic and pneumatic, machinery, and general industry. Using the latest in forging technology, we currently have the capacity to produce more than thirty million cold forged parts per year. The advantages cold forging process
1.Cold forging process can improve the utilization of material, taking the cold heading bolt as an example, the material utilization rate of the new technology "concave hole" six angle head bolts, is up to 99%.In addition to the loss of the end of the material, complete non-machining processing has been achieved. In the case of machining, the material utilization ratio is only 40%.The material utilization of the cold heading nut is also about 80%, while the machining nut is only 54% of the material utilization.
2.2. The productivity of cold forging process can be greatly improved, and the productivity can be increased 20-30 times compared with the original machining process.
3.As a result of the use of multi-station cold heading machine, each working procedure is processed on the same machine tool, the production place occupied by the equipment is reduced, and the transportation of the semi-finished products between the various processes is reduced, especially the labor intensity of the workers, improving working conditions.
4.Cold forging technology can improve the surface smooth finish of the product and ensure the precision of the product. For general products, the precision can be completely guaranteed.
